SANAS Accredited Services to ISO/IEC 17025 Include

Filter Preparation and Gravimetric Analysis:

Occupational hygiene sample filters are weighed on a Mettler microbalance according to the internationally accepted method MDHS 14. The filters are cassetted and numbered as per the customer’s request.

Respirable Alpha Quartz Analysis:

Direct-on-Filter Analysis:
X-ray diffraction (based on method MDHS 101): Using either one of the Bruker D4 Endeavor or the Bruker D8 Endeavor automated X-ray analyser for fast and accurate results on especially silver, PVC and MCE filters.
FTIR (based on method MDHS 101): Using the Bruker Tensor 27 on PVC filters.
Indirect Analysis:
Based on method NIOSH 7602, PVC and MCE filters are ashed, and a KBr pellet is pressed to be analysed on the Bruker Tensor 27.
