VUMA-live can also interact with the mine’s fire detection system, allowing for visualisation of areas affected by contaminants (blast fumes, gas, particulates, radon, etc.) and tracking of their movement. The daily blast can also be monitored to determine whether the mine is clear and the blast clearance time available.

In an emergency, such as a fire, the user will be able to identify which parts of the mine are affected by contaminants using live data in our 3D graphical interface. Thus, there will be no more looking at a 2D plan and manually plotting the fire points, instantly improving the user’s ability to combat a fire.
